Art challenge # 11

Here is my interpretation:
I see a very beautiful, youthful woman ready to settle down and get married to the man of her dreams, but she cannot bare any children. She is somewhat confused as to how long does she need to wait for the man to ask her to be his wife, as she knows her youth wont last forever.

The man seems to be well dressed, like a businessman, he travels a lot. He had a lot of challenges and obstacles before being successful, so he protects his image with material things to hide who he was before. He is so in to himself that he does not even see the beauty in his surrounding, he would not even step on the dirt. He knows that she is waiting, but is taking a lot of time, (you cant even be in a hurry with an open umbrella) as he knows that there is beauty in that single path but there is no future in the end, he is aware that she can't give him children, so he plays her game but lets her wait.

In life we tend to look outside of ourselves that we forgot who we really are, we try to chase happiness through material things, but strip it down and we have nothing, and we still feel empty inside. We try to consume everything beautiful in our path, when in fact beauty is all around us. We just have to be always present and realize that we are living in the "NOW"
