A new illustration: "Beauty requires sacrifice." Men, thank you for appreciating the natural beauty! My watercolor doll
HELLO EVERYBODY! My new illustration: "Beauty requires sacrifice."
my inspiration
On this illustration I was inspired by a master who creates dolls. It seems to me that she has golden hands. You can see the collection of "porcelain dolls" of the marina bullhead.
In my work I want to carry a fairy tale and mysticism, something mysterious. With many of my illustrations, you can learn the hero from a fairy tale. Only this hero will be modern, and not entirely fabulous.
My Creative Start
Even in my childhood, the pictures of others were monotonous to me. This monotony made me extremely sad. I wanted to paint, something else, something special. I wanted to show you the world as I see it. Whatever these drawings were different are not similar to the world that we see from day to day. Initially, I did not like the fact that my drawings are different. And the teacher was not delighted with my drawings. She always corrected mistakes, and made me draw what I see in reality. But she does not know what I see. The teacher told me that "Creativity is not yours." But over time, when my drawings began to be more eye-catching, I began to add shadows, she saw that there was something in it. But I still did not like to stand out among others. Growing up, I realized that it stands out from the crowd - it's not bad. My drawings could be a decoration of an unusual interior.
But unfortunately, I did not follow the artist's path. I studied for a completely different profession. And now I regret this very much. My hands are weaned from the brush. it was not long after that put the paint in the back box. But I hope I can catch up with it. The main thing is to go your own way.
I took a few photos of stage-by-stage work.
(maybe you'll need it.) As I said, the first thing I start with is sketching, I always make sketches in pencil It's rare to meet an artist who immediately paints paint on canvas.) To all such artists, my low bow)
Background.
(the second stage is the background, I always draw the background and then the main drawing. To the colors go well on the paper and spread it out, you need to wet the sheet with a brush.) Soak the sheet so that the main image does not get wet. do not be afraid to use more water, watercolor likes water, and watercolor paper will take it well)
The background is ready for 95%
It remains only at the end to connect the lower background with the main picture. I like the background for using blue colors
main pattern. we give color to the skin.
When he dried up I proceed to the main drawing. The first thing I do is cover the skin. I add shades and shadows.
make up your heroine
(I paint eyebrows, eyes, lips, then hair and clothes)
connect the background with the main drawing
(now the background is ready for 99%, it was left to decorate with small drops, I already applied white drops, now I want to add blue and black.) In order to apply the drops, I need to get a brush in the paint and then shake it in the water, main picture.)
Illustration ready
This drawing I drew this night. I hope that did not disappoint you. Thank you for visiting my blog! Do not forget to write comments, it is very important for me to know your opinion!
Why did I give her that name.
This doll reminds me of how sometimes to have a beautiful look have to suffer, I do not mean facial makeup, although this too is not very pleasant. That's when make a hair style a bit more unpleasant. It was not tea he pulled his hair, burned with a hair dryer or ironing, hair curlers interfere. And many more unpleasant moments that would become beautiful.
amazing work
Thank you very much friend! I'm happy that you like my watercolor doll!
Great artwork. Interesting to see an image coming to life through hands of an artist.
There is a certain sad innocents conveyed of course through the eyes, but also there a subtle fragility that's suggested by the bone structure at her neck and chest level.
Every man adores a woman who is perfect through her imperfections, and I believe that both artist and artwork here are sublimely perfect.
thanks, I'm glad that you like my watercolor hero! yes, you are right in her eyes sadness and she is thin :)
you are doing such wonderful art
Thank you very much for these words!
Great illustration. It was also very interesting to see the stages it went through from start to finish! :)
Thank you!I took pictures of the process for you :)
Yes, it's cool that you did that. Makes the post more interesting and engaging.
I like your painting.
Even better when you show us how you created it.
You are an art teacher inside.
I was very conflicted, wanting to be a musician when I was very young. But I didn't think I could support myself, or have a family, and I didn't want to be a burden to my family.
We all have many talents inside, so it can be wonderful to take a year off and do something different.
Then the economy was bad in 2009, and I could not find a job, I stopped looking for work for 1 year, and practiced guitar. It was a great time in my life, but then I went back to my old career because I have kids to support and an ex-wife ;-)
Thank you very much! I'm glad that I can show you the process. Perhaps in the future I will create my own channel on Youtube and I can send you a video process. I think that it will be whiter than the photo.
I really like when play the guitar. (especially men, hahah)
It is so romantic. Especially when the place corresponds to romance. Although a man with a guitar is a romantic in any place.
now you can play the gethar in the circle of friends. I do not know how to play. For me it's very difficult :) You know how to play - My low bow to you!
