The beauty of birds - original art
I'm a keen birdwatcher. So it is natural that I'm drawn to make these beautiful animals the subjects of some of my paintings. Here are some of my pieces featuring birds. These are all oil paintings on canvas. The first is the Cape Robin-chat, a common garden bird.

Secondly, the Cape Sparrow, also a common bird in South Africa.
Finally, the beautiful Golden breasted Bunting, a less common but strikingly beautiful bird.
