Sade for "I Love The 80's Contest"
Late again. That's it; no more contests until I stop going back and forth in time, LOL!
I always loved Sade's music, and thought she was a unique beauty, so I thought I would attempt her likeness for @agneslaczo 's I love the 80's contest
I started the drawing today in a coffee shop in Ktown. I took some fun photos of the cafe with the "Retro Camera" app in my phone.
The Mocha Latte was so well made it held it's art till the end.
I meant to start by laying down olive tones, but I used "bronze" by accident, and didn't realize until it was to late.
Then I added in purple and brown shadows and light beige and yellow highlights.
This is how I left it at the coffee shop. I finished it up at home.
No more contests until #artstyleart, lol!

Ooo, really cool! I've always loved the effect you get drawing on black or dark paper. It's a different mindset. The lighting looks nice on her, love the colors.
