The wise owl./ Watercolor / steps of its elaboration 🎨.
The owl is the emblematic bird that represents wisdom. It has the ability to turn the head 270º, about 200 species of them have been discovered.
An experience with the owl.
While I was thinking about what to inspire me to do today’s watercolor, I decided it was the turn for a member of the animal kingdom, I remembered that when I was a child, our house was being visited by a mouse that occasionally entered below the At the door of the house, my father used many methods to exterminate it, but he did not get any results, a friend recommended that he buy a special glue to catch mice.
My father looked for a board and smeared it with the glue, placed a piece of food for the street mouse in the trap in the center.
In the early morning of the next day, we heard a flutter that made us get out of bed, when we went out to the patio of the house we observed a small owl (similar to watercolor) with one of its wings. attached to the table and with the rest of something that looked like a mouse.
The funniest part of this story is that it was the first time that I saw an owl and did not know its behavior, I immediately mentioned my father if I could keep it as a pet and proceeded immediately if I expected an affirmative response to take off that little animal With big and beautiful eyes. As a result I received a painful squeeze with the beak on one of my fingers, I understood that it could not be a pet lol.
My father took it off the board, cut some of his sticky feathers and let go, but the owl was flying with difficulties, maybe he was the food for another animal species.
