The Return - Drawing Batman's Bane Traditionally - with steps -

Hello People! Been a long time, 2 months or so..

I have been preparing and cooking up some really interesting stuff. Switched from digital art to traditional to improve my skills and it was a journey!!

During this time I prepared one big post for Steemit and a huge art format that took 2 months to complete and it's almouuust done :D

This post is the return to this amazing platform in the upcoming time and an opportunity to tell you what's planned:

So there will be a lot of comic book art and talk about comic book art and the steps, thought and skill process and life in general :)

Here's Bane:

ART: Decaped Crusader

Okay so this is the art in it's final form, thought it trough, composition and everything. Love that Old School Bane design from comics of the 90s

Had a ton of fun engaging in new art forms and developing new and interesting ways to pull it off. THis one had some Photoshop work with lighting, everything else is pure hand and ink.

Here's the process:

Step 1:

General idea with regular graphic pen and after that the fun with ink begins!

Step 2:

Playing with lines, making a big setup for the grand entrance of Bane. Used ink with brush and ink brush marker

Step 3:

Adding more definition on the lines

Step 4:

Ink and brush Time!!! Played with shadows and lines, adding some texture to the character

Step 5:

White acrylic paint with brush for white and light highlights, red eyes, adding stroke bats in the background, playing around

Step 6:

Just putting on some yellow ink with brush in the back

Step 7:

The big one! Worked with colors here, fixed things I did not like. A bunch of fun with the background! Splashes, ink splashes with the black and white ones with acrylic paint, used a toothbrush to pull this off, great and easy effect if splashed correctly. A ton of work on the cape with white, and that's almost it!

Step 8:

Scanning the art and playing with it in Photoshop. This one was a pure fun and play
