Art - SPIDER MAN - (step by step included)

Greetings friendly neighborhood Steemit people!

I present to you the ever lovely whole world famous Spider Man! Drew him today in Photoshop using my drawing pad friend.

So as Stan Lee would say, here it is, true believers:

I heard that the PS4 exclusive game is doing really well, Spidey all around, Venom movie, new animated movie coming out this winter, awesome stuff.

I really like drawing Superheroes and find Peter Parker amazing for illustration. This is one of those moments, when you are a kid, Spider Man is one of the easiest characters to draw, he's got round head, simple color scheme of costume, cool stuff he shoots, web on the costume, easy and memorable, right?

The thing is, when you are older and try to draw him the best you can, you figure out that he indeed is one of the more complicated ones if you want to do it right. All those webbing moments should look cool, but you can't mess it up, gonna look like a child's drawing. Then the webs, oh man the webs, took some time for these. Then the figure, the muscles, pose, he is a one tough cookie.

All in all, I really enjoyed drawing him, it's fun and took me back to those innocent child memories :D

Here's the process:

First one is the sketch, getting the body position right I guess

Then the web, oh man, this was a step that took some time and commitment

After that, you guessed it right, more web, the costume webbing, gotta go slow with this one, and added more details too, spider emblem/logo, and fixed some lines, added some

Ok so base color is in and the background work begins, thought it would be more active illustration if I add the spider sense and a glimpse of Venom in the back, did some lighting effects too

Basic Spidey color is in, classic approach

And in the final step we have, shadows, lights, splashes and a bit of extra material in the background to make it more fluid and comic book like, I love the 90s era of comics, so that was the inspiration too, and some color balance changes

Okay so that brings our friendly neighborhood hero to life! Sooo glad I drew Spidey!
