Another view from the lighthouse v.2.0
Africa is awesome. Looking out of the Indian Ocean gives us perspective.

Looking out from the lighthouse there is much to be seen. The breaking of the waves on the reefs at the edge of the lagoon. The contrast between the lighter coloured water in the lagoon versus the dark blue of the Indian Ocean beyond. Watch out for the sharks out there. Good for fishing but the water is deep deep deep.

Who is taller, lighthouse or palm tree, I see
both shadows :-)
Amazing how palms get so tall and spindly looking
and survive such storms, well not all but ya know
what I mean lol
What does this lighthouse look like? and is that
algee out in the lagoon or water lilies?

The other day I was looking at the sea floor on
google earth. Maps are another fun thing!
Was looking at the lands that use to be, like
doggerland etc. But also the big drop offs like
that off Cuba, from sea level to 20 thousand
feet below sea level, yeow!
There also looks like a distant knob poking out
along the horizon, just right of the light house
shadow. A boat or land?
Must of been peaceful to sip some
coffee and watch that endless view!

Fully agreed. A beautiful place to hang out and look at the world. I'll see if I can dig out a couple of photos of the lighthouse, no worries.
Google Earth is insane, we can go anywhere on this planet. Can't wait for Google Mars or other planets as well!

on goo earth pro, it's the little icon
at the top looks like Saturn, has a
pull down tab.
Will be cool someday to see many
more worlds live action eh lol

PS. No land as far as the eye can see. Next land is... India!
