My first Quokka ^_^
As you know, I was born and I live in Italy and I've never seen a quokka in real, but I had so much fun to watch some video about this funny little animal and I thought it was time to paint one of them in my own illustrative style ^_^
Quokka is a marsupial (like the kangaroo), but small like a cat! He's an herbivorous animal and lives in some areas of the Australia, so he's very far from Italy. ^_^
In the videos I watched and in some online pics he seems to have a funny face and so I thought he could be a perfect subject for one of my paintings. I painted him with big cheeks and a lot of leaves on the background.
