I recently experimented a lot with line- and grid-art. It all started when I posted a digital self-portrait at twitter and received this comment from the Co-founder of knownorigin.io:
If you're a regular reader of my blog, you certainly know the origin of this piece.

Encouraged by the positive feedback, i have decided to deal even more intensively with the digital lines- and grid-art. Here is a piece, I called "Lying Nude":

Although it seems to take a few days, until my art is available for sale at knownorigin.io, I'm quite happy about the appreciation, I receive. At least I feel encouraged to further dive into this technique. Here are some more works, I created:

This is really cool. I have some of my pieces on two sites that are selling art as part of the block chain. It's funny as you upload it and then you have to wait as it is 'created' like a blockchain coin as it becomes a piece of it, I still don't completely understand it, but I think art sales and ownership are definitely headed in that direction.
I second that. Blockchains are perfect for proof and tracking of art ownership. Usually a digital copy of the art is stored on IFPS (a decentralized file system) and a token is created, that points to that digital file. Smart contracts then manage the conditions under which the token can change owners. It's definitely the future ;-)
Wow! In love these pieces. They're futuristic and esoteric. I love 'ball pool' and ' explosion of consciousness' the most.
I want to learn to make digital arts with the little art knowledge I have, I believe I can make great art like these too. I'd like to learn a thing or two from you sir about the computer programs & operating system to use.

Great artwork! I'm crossing my fingers, that you'll be able to go to Steemfest 3 ;-) Regarding the tools I used to create those pieces: I make use of an iOS app called Glitché and Fotor OSX for postprocessing.

I'm definitely planning to attend Steemfest. Hopefully I will be able to. The recent crypto bear-market makes it more harder for me to finance it. But where there is a will, there is a way ;-)

I remember when I drew line halftone and grids like these in the hand to make it look modern. Now, with all the tools available, I can only see it as complete waste of time :) "Be smart," and the last three ones are rather funky.
Thanks :-) Maybe it's a waste of time, but I'm somehow very much attracted by these kind of works, that for example the Danish artist Carl Krull does. He also seems to be at Copenhagen Creatives exhibition and meeting and has a fine Instagram.
Yes, it has a strange charm when others do it :) I have a friend who loves making this kind of work and he has been taught how to engrave stamps and money bills. But my brain needs to get on with all the ideas I have, so often I just jump into the fray. I do plan as you know, but my temperament is always struggling with it.
Knowing how to engrave money bills might come in handy at some point ;-) I had the idea of letting some of these artworks print on canvas and then trace the lines with a touch-up pen. As I'm interested in the intersection of analog and digital, this might (or might not) work out.
I recently ordered a Blockchain Art Certificate starter kit, which enables you to register physical artworks with a blockchain and I'm already starting to think about the art, I will use this for. While I usually also just "jump into the fray" when I do art, this kind of "concept art" might be a new experience for me.
I am not sure it will come in handy anymore, hacking crypto-coin seems a better business!
Sounds interesting with the canvas project. I had some friends who did this, painted on top of printed bitmaps they had made in photoshop. Ulrik Crone is one of the best:
As for your starter kit, I used to put up my things on the Alexandria project - haven't looked into it for a while.
At least you'd be able to design some nifty paper-wallets...

I've heard of the Alexandria project, but I didn't try it myself yet. I'm looking forward to checking it out as well as the physical blockchain certificates by the blockchainartcollective. At least I'm not running out of interesting stuff to post about ;-)
I guess we will both have to close down our brains to reach that point, I only regret that I am not making so much freak art now that I am trying to make Phill a weekly occurrence...
Wheee! You‘re kidding, I just saw that you made some fine freaky art at dada ;-) If for any reason Phill holds you back from doing what you love, you should definitely give him a break. Weekly pages are certainly cool, but bi-weekly pages are just as good.
Ball pool 2018, colorful line grid art gets the most attention of mine, some of specific art in here on steemit and you also get notified from reputation organisation.
