The collections of the mentioned museums features works by Andrey Pozdeev.

Andrey Pozdeev is a distinguished representative of independent art in Siberia of the post-war USSR, one of the ingenious self-taught artists for whom art is a profoundly intimate action, a search for true meanings of things, and a self-studying. Pozdeev is a great individualist who was developing his style far from the opposition between official and alternative cultures that was typical for in Moscow and Leningrad art scene of that time. He was a member of the Artists' Union; he didn't participate in exhibitions of non-conformists art. On his creative path he tried to reveal his personal way to understand of the world. He was not captured by the current issues of his time in contrast to non-conformist artists in Moscow and Leningrad. His art is based on eternal spiritual world, and objects of reality turn on his canvas into ideas and symbols.
