The museum of one painting, founded in 1983, is the only museum in the world of its kind. The author of the idea is Georg Vasilievich Myasnikov (1926-1996).
In the museum, the visitor meets with only one work of art accompanied by an audiovisual program that creates a special atmosphere that favors the meeting with the painting. In the course of this program, the viewer gets acquainted with the time in which the artist lived, with the artistic quest of the era, with the mystery of creating the picture, its philosophy.
