Circumstances Under Control
This is an Exquisite Corpse collaboration I did with the Amazing artist Luca Rossi from Italy. It's made with pencils on a3 paper and one of the bigger collaborations I did with Luca. I did some collaborations earlier with Luca and he still needs to finish a big one I send years ago. Process of collaborations can go very slow ( I have to finish one I have for some years now...). At that time Luca didn't had much experience with pencils and was more focused on working with Ink. So I was kind of stunned what he did with pencils when I saw the small strip.
I really like the result and one of the reasons I made this blog is because I have all the process shots so you can see how I work or how it came to the result. I kind of work chaotic and don't finish a part first before I go to the next. I work on the parts which my focus goes to. Work on it until my attention wanders off to another part. ( maybe also the way I write my blogs lol )
The artwork is made in 2013 but I'm still very impressed by it. It's also in the time I started doing more blending with pencils to get more smooth shapes.
The collaboration is an "Exquisite Corpse" which means one of the artists start a part and covered it with a small strip to see. The next artist receives the drawing and finishes it based on the small part he sees. When the part is ready the whole drawing gets revealed.
Sometimes people ask if I look secretly what the other did. But I can't because I know it will influence my part and also feels like cheating and ruins the whole game. So I really need a lot of patience when I'm on this kind of collaborations :)
Below you see the progress shots and the small part which was visible when working on it.
I remember it took lots of hours to get all the parts scanned and stitched together without seeing any errors. Damn it was stressful because I wanted to show it but also wanted to have the right scan result. And with all the details you keep seeing scan errors...(.... yes I'm a perfectionist.... ;) )

I'm sorry I was really excited at first but it started to feel just like another platform...I love creating art and to show it but I'm terrible in networking etc. I'm glad you gave me some positive vibes :D
Yes! I hope you will get more success with the different tags :>
Also, poke me at Discord when you are free, and we can talk about some other tips and tricks that might help :D
We're all here in the same boat trying to keep up the motivation to make art and hoping they are connecting, in some manners, with the world at large :> There will be tough days, but that's what friends are for :>
hugs
Thank you so much again! :D
