Red WIP - very slowly getting there
Felt like posting a quick screenie as I haven't done a public wip for a while (there's a couple on Patreon that are well before this stage). Still have to do his wings, hands, feet and tail but am pretty happy with how he turned out.
Because I'm nearing completion I'm getting that post-completion anxiety of IS IT GOOD ENOUGH? HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING? AM I GOING TO HATE IT AS SOON AS I CALL IT DONE?
On the bright side the last thing hasn't happened for a very long time, and as I'm at the point where I haven't felt the need to completely redo all my bases I am reasonably certain that if I find anything I'm unhappywith I should be able to just fix it.
Once I'm done with him I'll sit on the sculpt for a day or so and work on either one of the many 2d pieces begging for attention or start on the pilot (I'm building the characters in order of appearance for each ep) and if I'm still happy with him without having to poke around "fixing" things I'll paint him and rig him.
I'm in a pretty good mood as I'm now ahead of where I stalled last time ^_^

That looks awesome, my friend! The details on Za'haran are so well defined. Since you converted him to 3D, the light really did the shadows good. His chiseled muscles and the emotion portrayed by his face is so clearly seen. The symmetry is nice, and I'm sure he'll look even better once fully painted. I hope that there's a 360 view of him in the near future because that artwork looks like da bomb! Spectacular work, my friend! :D

I love 3d Coat for the PBR lighting :D makes sculpting and painting a lot easier.
Their faces are supposed to be blank while they're in arrow pose, what expression are you seeing?
Do mentions work? I don't think I've ever gotten a notification for them. Could just be screwy things with my setup.

Really? Huh.. That's odd. I'm seeing a kind of confused/wondering expression. Must be the angle of the shadow. Mentions don't work on Steemit, but it does for other services like busy.org and eSteem, I think. I don't use them either, so I'm not in the know whenever I'm mentioned.
I was using Busy as it runs on Firefox (steemit.com doesn't work on my Windows Firefox for whatever reason, did not have this problem on my Linux Firefox, so I have to use Chrome DX) but I keep using steemit to post as I have a bit more control of the post. The editor (apparently it's a Medium style editor but I wouldn't know as I don't use Medium) is really nice but doesn't always do the things I want it to (the biggest issues being centreing of portrait oriented objects and linking images). It also tends to jump all over the joint and I don't think it's my browser as I've had similar things in Akasha and that's a...dapp. I do use eSteem but generally only in the morning if I'm too tired to haul my carcass out of bed but am otherwise awake XD I might have to go have a quick squizz :D

Hmm that's weird. The browser should be OS-agnostic, unless there's something screwy with your Windows Firefox. Personally, I prefer Chrome because of the minimalism. I was a huge Firefox supporter back in college though.
I generally just use Steemit because I don't have the luxury to get used to a new environment for the moment. Since I'm used to writing in Markdown, I find the freedom in terms of formatting very nice. You colorful expressions are very much welcome and understood :D

The steemit box isn't doing mixed markdown and html anymore :< it was probably bad form anyway but it was so useful XD
Really? Mixed markdown and HTML works for me.
Paranoid-fyn? Really though, is being spied on all that bad? I'm on the fence regarding this debate. On the one hand, it helps prevents terrorism, while on the other your privacy is being violated. I guess full disclosure is necessary to allow users the opportunity to opt out if they feel the service is going overboard.
I haven't actually tried it on this computer but it was failing on my Firefox at home, if I did any html the markdown would be spat out verbatim and vice versa.
And oh have I got big long and very cynical rants about privacy and terrorism and opting out as if they'd ever let anyone XD But I shall leave the debacling to people much better at that. I have stories to tell and some of them might even be helpful :D
