I am going to build Islands out of trash ... AGAIN!
I am writing this while enjoying a busride towards my next adventure after having spent the last two weeks in solitude at my parents home in Bavaria.
I am sharing the bus with children-visiting grandpas, and dread-haired teenagers with dreads with shell tattoos on their leg. Indicating one thing:
It's festivalsaison in Germany again! And festivals come hand in hand with art.
Floating art in our case. We are a collective called Makers4humanity and we are making humanity sustainable through art.
Last year during two festivals a colourful community with people of all ages and social backgrounds gathered with the goal to float in the end.
A journey of
Eternal friendship
Jukeboxing trashcans
Historic art
and of course Titanic!
Last year's ended up to be an intensive life-bootcamp.
What's happening this year? I am excited and I hope you are too! I am going to keep you updated here on Steemit.

Hallo liebe Maker und solche die es werden wollen!
Die Festivalsaison in Deutschland ist eröffnet und ich sitze nun nach 2 erholsamen Wochen in denen ich mich intensiv mit Steemit auseinandergesetzt habe im Bus Richtung Ferropolis. Die Stadt aus Eisen in Sachsen-Anhalt.
Während des Splash! Und des melt! werden wir als Makers4humanity eine schwimmende Insel bauen, diese wassern und während der Festivals bespaßen. Dabei nehmen wir natürlich alles dazwischen mit.
Letztes Jahr würde daraus ein intensives Lebensbootcamp. Wie wird es dieses Jahr? Ich bin gespannt und ich hoffe ihr auch!
Ich werde euch hier auf Steemit auf dem Laufenden halten.
Auf welche Festivals geht ihr so? Oder ist das nichts für euch? Lasst doch ein Kommentar da. :)
sehr coole Sache, gefällt mir! Schön, dass ich dich gefunden habe! Willkommen auf steemit. Kunst aus Müll ist superspannend. Ich bin auch ein großer fan von upcycling. Auch wenn ich nicht vor ort dabei sein kann, vielleicht kann ich ja ein Gedicht beisteuern. Könnt ihr Gedichte irgendwie einbauen?

Ich fühle mich geehrt dass du du ein Gedicht beisteuern möchtest. Klar darfst du das! Kunst und Poesie ist immer gerne gesehen. Ich weiß zwar noch nicht wo und wie aber irgendwie werde ich das in unsere Machenschaften einbauen. :)
Tag 0 in Ferropolis ist grade auch frisch auf meinem Blog erschienen. Vielleicht magst du das ja auch lesen :)

Danke für den Tipp! Letzteres kann ich dir nicht versprechen. Letztes Jahr ist die Insel auf dem See abgetrieben und ich war in nicht nüchternen Zustand. Das war ein Erlebnis sag ich dir!
Mussten am Ende vom DLRG abgeschleppt werden. Das war tolles Videomaterial für den Aftermovie vom Melt! :D

Right?! We are building those Islands all around the world to also raise awareness about rising sea levels and to prototype a solution for housing after floods and co. Happy to have you here! :)
