TRAVEL CRAFTS. Sweden and Feroe Islands. Gifts for friends. 2019

Hi!

for those who have followed previous posts, you will know that I have been travelling in Scandinavia this summer.
I just retuned to Ibiza last week after almost 3 months away. We try to leave Ibiza in Sumer because we are invaded by tourists and heat.
In our case, we are not wealthy so we have had to keep to quite a tight budget to be able to stay away for so long. I also usually like to bring back a little gift to my friends in Ibiza, a little something representative of where we visited. This year I thought I´d collect some stones in Sweden and paint them with typical motives of Faroe Islands and Sweden. I would have liked to bring back rocks from Faroes but as we flew there it was silly to bring so much weight from there. So, when I was near Ystad, in Sweden, I found the perfect rocks to paint.

So, then on our way down from Sweden to Barcelona we stopped in south of France for 3 days in Ardeche and I painted these little stones as gifts.
