A little about me:
Born in Ukraine, Roman Dunets is a graduate of the Art Institute of Lviv, having also done years of extensive studies at the Lviv School of Fine Art, and additional independent studies in Rome, Italy. Roman brings his extensive European background and knowledge of the rich traditions of European art into his paintings, and uses a wide variety of media and techniques. In addition to having painted monumental murals for public buildings in Ukraine, he is equally skilled in portraying landscapes, still life, and portraiture in his easel paintings and drawings, and always brings his deeply personal perspective to his work. His paintings and drawings are in numerous public and private collections in both the USA and Europe, including at a Smithsonian affiliate, The Women's Museum in Dallas, Texas. He was also the featured artist in the January, 1994 issue of the magazine, "Manhattan Arts International ."
