Hey Steemians! It's daily Holi-Art time!
The idea of my daily Holi-Art is to create a piece of art with the theme based around that day's less popular or even funny national or international holiday. Today is December 24th and thanks to the website www.daysoftheyear.com, I have learned that it is Eggnog Day . So today I will post an original piece of artwork that corresponds this particular 'holiday'.

They are just thoughts and images from the web which I thought would reflect a dynamic user-generated news service. One thing which I did learn is that the steemit logo is not intended to be too prominent - they are looking for almost a sub-brand! I am unclear as to the reasoning for this - just thought I should share that with you!

This should be interesting to watch unfold. I'm definitely not getting in the middle of it. Haha
How long does it take you?
To create one piece?
Not long, really. I usually get 6-7 done in a day, and that leaves time for real life the rest of the week. Haha
Some of the more complex designs take longer, of course (like the maple syrup one or the Dalek, to name a couple of recent pieces).
But when I do photo manipulations like the bigfoot one for @papa-pepper's recent contest, that type of thing takes a bit longer.
