I had a lot of fun with this piece, I worked fast and loose, not my primary mode of operation. I love pain inducing detail, I don't know why, probably some kind of masochistic conditioning, which pushes me when I run long distances and love/dread weeks and weeks of silent meditation retreating.
I saw a polar bear and a wolf in the peeling paint. My brillant Grandson saw the forest and mountains.
My interpretation of an old rotten wall.
I used gessoed paper grocery bag for the canvas and oil pastels for the medium.
I love the basic first layers of color I almost left the work, "as is."

Thank you dear @bleujay, it is chilly here in Oklahoma but for a polar bear it would be like summer time....I wish I could be so lucky to have such a lovely fur coat. Makes me wonder were humans came from to be so vulnerable to weather extremes, we are hairless wonders....lolol
No but I can help you find it no charge, money will only make creativity invisible, make it hide from the mind numbing state called "work." We must play, sometimes we will feel sad, angry, tired, maybe happy, or joyful, but always we must play and creativity will come out of hiding and join us.
