Art Project With E and Red Dust -- Pokemon Series -- 5 -- Second Layer --
This is the last of our paintings in our Pokemon series and the second layer of three. I started this project to bond with my grandchildren through teaching them new skill sets. I learned about the Pokemon game and my Grandchildren learned the basics in drawing and painting along with the discipline needed in sharing ones creativity with the world.
Second Layer
Diamond Milotic, calms a violent heart. Feebas the fish like Pokemon evolves into Milotic. The watercolors are: blues are French Ultramarine, Phthalo Blue, and Colbalt Blue. The yellows are Cadmium Yellow medium, and Yellow Orcre. The red is Vermilion and blackish color is Payne's Gray.
The third layer will consist of detailing, highlighting, and shadowing. This is the most tedious layer for me and I think makes or breaks my paintings.
