An unnecessary surprise / illustration / poem

Another of my surreal stories

Everything that is good ends,
so avoid the cabinets that barely stick to the wall,
avoid the sun at night and rain on a clear day,
all speak twice confidently,
when the birds fly away hiding their treasures in Champagne bottles,
add all those moments when you were not well with yourself,
cut two small shapes out of paper, similar to your eyes,
and glue to the empty wall to give it meaning.

There is always something after something,
and yet it begins and ends with nothing,
to have a reason, look behind the horizon,
hidden behind the wall of steel cities.
