Self portrait NR 1 Done with Acrylic paint!
Doing a self portrait is not something I like or prefer to do! I don't feel skilled enough to work with faces at all but, I want to learn!
Today I used Acrylic paint because I do most of my work with that! In the coming weeks I will make more of them with other mediums like water color and chalk!
I refuse to work with shadows and skin colors at this point because... well it's just not my style! Maybe in time when I learn to to faces, eyes and hair better I might feel different! In this case I wanted to create something in multi colors to give it more spicy effect!
Gosh, to be honest with you all.... I do NOT like the end result. Maybe it's the paint I picked, maybe the colors or maybe even the little circles I felt like adding in the end for some unknown reason! It happens and I am sure that it will happen again! I would like it better when I can say, "Oh look what I made, I love it!" BUT not this time. It's not that I really hate it ... Maybe it's because it's a self portrait? I dunno... I like the picture I used... Hmmmm Interesting!
Maybe I will like it better when I use a different medium next time!

@poeticsnake I think a very good paint. Maybe, you expect more from yourself. That is a not traditional paint, but a good paint. Continue doing until you get satisfied about that, because you are the principal subject to agree with yourself.
