I always say that art is the portal of our imagination. It allows us to materialize everything we want. And in this post, I'll show you a proof of that.
I was recently practicing drawing bubbles, and when I learned how to handle them properly, I thought about drawing several bubbles, or better yet, drawing them in a way that it seemed like I was blowing them. This is the result.
When I took the picture, I remembered when I was a child and secretly took some of my mother's soap, mixed it with water, and started to blow bubbles. I think blowing bubbles was something we all enjoyed in our childhood. Doing this work was not easy, because I had to pay special attention to each of the 9 bubbles.
Elaboration process
The first bubble had to be shaped like a light bulb, to make it look like it was coming out because of the wind. Next, I drew other lines inside with different colors to have a circumference guide.
I added some sparkles with white chalk, and then I gave color to the outline to give beauty to the flash. I really enjoy doing the flashes. It's my favorite part.
I started to blur the guide lines with their respective color, but leaving dark spaces to give it the necessary transparency aspect.
I continued blurring the guide lines in the rest of the bubble, I gave him some reflections with the color purple, and I added flashes with the white color so that it seemed that the bubble is reflecting the light of his surroundings. Finally, I used the eraser to darken some areas and reinforce the aspect of transparency.
When I had the first bubble ready, I set out to make the biggest bubble.
To paint it, carry out the same process as with the first bubble; I made the guide lines of the circumference, add the flashes, I gave color to the guide lines without covering the whole area to have the effect of transparency, I added the final flashes that represent the reflection of the light, and I included purple tones so that the bubble will be pretty colorful.
For this bubble, I wanted to dare to make it another color. As you can see in the image, I used purple as the main color, followed by blue and yellow. In this bubble, I made some red reflections that gave it a good visual impact.
After this point, I just had to add the other bubbles applying the same process in each one, and playing with the tones of the colors to obtain a result like the one you will see below.
Finally, with plastic, I made a figure that represented the tool that is used to make the bubbles, with adhesive tape I pasted the CD cases with the bubbles to the wall, and I took the photographs for the final result.
Materials
-2 CD cases.
-Colors.
-Chalk.
-Gum to erase.
-Plastic.
Did you like it? This is a sample of what can be achieved with creativity imagination, and a few colors. As Albert Einstein said:
"Logic will take you from A to B, but imagination will take you anywhere"
