Shadow Dance
''Come out of the shadows and dance'' she whispered as she swayed to the tune of the wind. Feet anchored to the ground her fingers moved like a lady lost in the sound of jazz.
Watercolour and water-based paint on paper. Inspired by the pale bark of the Betula papyrifera, known as a paper birch tree.

Beautiful work lady @opheliafu, I very well grasp the details that nature provides.

Damn Ophelia, yer art is always so beautiful. :) keep up the good stuff.
Thank you @raymonjohnstone I appreciate those kind words.
I love birch trees. I remember picking the peeled bark off the ground and drawing pictures on them when I was a child. I once even wove a tiny basket. It was crap, of course, but the process was fun.
I'm sure it was a beautiful basket.
All your birch trees are so good. You sure capture how those big ones stand together. I always like seeing your birch trees!
