Rhythmical Movers -my Collaborative Art Journey with @everlove
This is my contribution to @everlove's Collaborative Art Journey...''RIBBON OF HOPE" No. 24.
We are rhythmical movers
Moonlit party groovers
Throwing our shapes
as the ground quakes
to the sound of our bass
The smell of crushed grass
beneath our feet
as we jive and bend
to this sweet beat
The children of dance
in a garden of music
You've got to learn to groove it
or one day you might lose it!
The process
I took @everlove's original image 'ribbon of hope' and edited it in a graphics editor to create a black and white image that traced the line contours. I then printed this on thick paper and searched the image for my tiny dancers. Once I found each dancer I filled in their outline with red paint.

OH my @opheliafu!! This is soooo cute! What a great idea. The colors you've chosen provide great contrast. This is just the party scene I wanted to see!! I did a photoshoot recently for an epic birthday party and have been looking at party photos all day....and now this! Your poem is awesome too. I love it when you combine these two art forms together. Always a blessing!

absolutely love what you did with this! it's such an abstraction so I can see it from several perspectives - a swirling mass of energy and connected people in the cosmos, and a mosh-pit :-). Great graphic approach!
It's been years since I've been in a mosh pit! I think I'd probably give myself whiplash if I tried it now!
