One week to go and it seems everyone is busy making preparations for Christmas. Decorations are being hung, the shops are bustling and the dark nights are lit by twinkling strands of light.
Some sunshine managed to break through the grey sky today, so I took the opportunity to take a break from it all and go for a walk in the woods. All but the pine trees and hollies are bare. The bird songs seem louder, maybe because of the lack of leaves, they pierce the air. The birds flit from branch to branch, feeding on the wild berries and insects.
On the edge of the forest there are a few birdhouses and bat boxes on the trees. I drew one of the houses, looking closer it seemed that maybe its inhabitant was also making festive preparations.
Wouldn't it be cool if inside that little Christmas tree was another little birdhouse with a tiny Christmas tree out side it and inside that tiny Christmas tree was another birdhouse and so on and so on.
Excellent post lady @opheliafu, I believe that the birds perceive the festive monsoons, I work until three or four in the morning and at that time the birds' trinar begins, and the truth is always heard with more fervor, that's why I encourage you to say that the birds predict the arrival of the good night and Christmas.

Its def better than mine. I love the colours is bright and cheery, can imagine the little birdies being very cosy :)
