Exhibit #4: Abstractions





What separates humans from other animals on Earth is the fact that we are self-aware. As beings who are conscious of our own existence, we are the only ones who are disconnected from nature. If you take a look, you will realize that all animals are in harmony with their surroundings, they just blend in with the environment. Humans are the only species who find themselves lost in the world. In the beginning we too were not self aware, but God made a set-up to expose the knowledge of good and evil. The primordial Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge and suddenly realized OMG WE ARE NAKED. So there was developed the sense of shame, judgement, and ego. The ancient lovers were forever expelled from the Garden of Eden. No more of the bliss of not knowing.

This is a curse and a source of suffering, but a gift and a blessing at the same time. This is a world of duality, so both truths exist at the same time. It is a curse because we will always be the 'aliens' on this planet, it can make us feel lost and disconnected. But it is also a blessing because we have the ability to predict the future and prepare for it. Once you realize your true nature, you know that you can orchestrate your life because it is essentially a reflection of your inner state.

This self awareness also gives you the ability of abstract thinking. You are not only a creation but also a CREATOR. Never forget that.
