Color hallucinations

in #art6 years ago (edited)

Sometimes you just want to surrender to the riot of color under the water. Unusual and bright colors surround you from all sides. This is not found on the surface. The color is stronger and penetrates into all corners, where the rays of the sun fall or the light of lanterns and flashes.

It can be something motley and bright, or vice versa, almost monotonous and all-encompassing. But in any case, the color here is felt differently. A minute, two, five and already a kaleidoscope of color spots takes you away from reality.

There are already no fish, crabs and mollusks around. All this is simply revived by someone's order of color ... Have you ever met a lively yellow? And red? And of course a lot of their relatives, relatives and sooo far. These colors can not even come up with a name. And why do they need a name?)

I really love such color abstractions. A close-up shot allows you to immerse yourself in them. The absence of unnecessary details helps not to be distracted from the main thing. Sometimes it would be desirable and at all to deduce the main object from a zone of sharpness. So that all the colors begin to mix and pour.

But how can we abandon the amazing texture? All these lines and patterns. We can look at them endlessly and move on from one part to the other. Like the paths in the park)

And then suddenly you notice a living being there. Most often it is tiny, less than a centimeter. And thanks to an amazing disguise, you can see it only by accident. I had many cases when I found shrimp and crabs at home, looking at photos)

These words & pictures so beautifully capture the experience. I also find that my sense of vision and hearing have another dimension underwater, although not quite at your level yet. Sometimes after staring at a colorful fan for so long looking for that mystical pygmy seahorse, (which everyone except for me seems to have spotted), I simply nod pretending to have seen too...when all I see is the fan! Hallucinations indeed!

Thank you)
I'll tell a funny story about my friend. He is also an underwater photographer. But his vision is weak. Even a mask with diopters does not help.
It is difficult for him to see macro creatures. Therefore, he negotiates with the guide to show him with a wand. He focuses the camera on a stick and photographs. And the creatures he looks at home at the photos))
