The Hidden Painting
Many times I think I know what I am painting.... most of the time the painting paint itself. Don't ask me how.... The Krishna painting I present in my last post has a hidden painting.
I often turn my painting around to have a fresher view. On horizontal side, without any intention on my part there was another painting representing the death of Krishna. "Krishna was resting beneath a tree. A hunter saw the foot of Krishna comes out of the bushes and assuming it to be a deer, shot it down with an arrow...."
Now that I know I am attempting to keep the two paintings. I am still at an early stage in that painting many more layer has to come. this is the 4th layer. Next Layer will be Orange stay-tuned....
This is the side I begin to paint: "Cosmic Krishna" - work in progress - layer 4 Yellow

Thank you for sharing your work in progress with us. You truly make magic happen on the canvas. How long do you usually work on a painting and how do you chose your topic/ motive?
xx
UPVOTED
Thank you for your appreciation. it could take between 2 months to 9 months depend of sizes and complications of life. When I only paint, for that one I will guess 3 months, but I have been busy volunteering my work in India.
I usually choose a topic which is beyond my own experience or knowledge. Painting is a great medium for research. in this case I was targeting a collector of Krishna painting I study the Bhagavad Gita and fell in love with it. it is such a beautiful text.
Wow.. your paiting is very unique to me.. it caugh my eye.. you have a talent!! 👏👏
Thanks so much. 30 years in the making too.
30!? WOW!
i mean it is 30 years i am painting. this painting is not as old
Glad you clarified that point Nad. =)
me too! :)
This is so detailed! It must have taken so long to paint!
I love the pictures that have many different views depending on how you turn it.
Great work!
Thank you! yes it does take a lot of time . i love challenges, this one is a good one.
I complimented you last week as well, but this painting is gorgeous. Can you tell me what you intend to sell it for in INR? I doubt I'll be able to afford it, but it's so trippy, I felt I should at least ask in the hope....lol
Thank you to ask well it will be quite expensive because it is 2 paintings in one. I will let it go for 9 bitcoin. about 20 lakhs. i also accept Steem, Ethereum, dash and iota
Well that definitely, out of my current reach! But maybe some day soon, I will be lucky enough to proudly display your artwork in my home! You keep creating, because the world needs such beauty!
Thank you so much to be a future collector of my work.
You can also commission me, choose a subject you like me to paint and I can work within a budget.
