I also like the fact that you have used the pictures to tell of a story! That is how i wish most people would do. The majority of people who make picture/image posts just put them there hanging.
I think that describing the drawing or telling a story using it, as you here have, should be the way to as it helps to generate engagement.
The way you have done here is something most members of the community can, and should learn from.

They are a group that manually scouts for quality content among their followers. And yours is certainly quality. I have no doubt if you follow them, it will do you some good, so long as you augment that with quality content. which you are already doing.
