I'm glad I was able to help! At least I know someone out there is getting something from this post 😛.

There will be several opportunities for fireworks once the weather gets warm. It's worth taking the effort to go see them. Plus its a reason to get out the house!

You still have time to get the remote but remember a wired one is best so you can lock it in and be in the moment enjoying the show. Once you have your settings locked in you are good to go but it takes a while to find the settings that'll make you happy. Just remember to keep the ISO as low as possible to get clean images. Play around with the shutter speed as that's the most important factor in the equation.
