An Original Painting By Michael Stobierski From Start To Finish
An original painting by Michael Stobierski. 11 x 14 inch acrylic on canvas painting.
This is a painting of a lovely Steemit lady, @bindu.
Her name is Bindu Khanal. She is 22 years old and a Sagittarius. She is a college student from Kathmandu Nepal, (half way around the world from me).
We have become good friends here on Steemit. We have chatted extensively, and I have found that she is a honest, sincere and religious person. She has strong family values and is eager to make her parents proud. She is very focused in what she wants to do with her life. All great qualities!
She asked me if I would paint a picture of her. She is the first Steemit person that ever asked, so I said that I would.
Note: I took pictures of the painting every day or so to show the progress from start to finish.
First, I prepped the canvas.
Next, I roughed in her basic shape.
The next series of pictures shows how experimented with her as she really looks.
At this point I decided to change the background.
The next series of pictures shows how I try to improve the painting.
This painting took a little less than 2 weeks to complete.
There are a lot more pictures, but this post is running too long, so here is the finished painting.
This is the photograph that Bindu sent me by email. Isn't she is a very lovely lady?
