---- Needle Work Monday Contest Entry ----
This is my entry to the Needle Work Monday logo design contest, I created this file in about 3 hours with a little help from some YouTube tutorials as it has elements i have not created before such as the curved writing. I spent quite a bit of time collecting various elements and cartoonifying, colourising, sizing and placing many of these elements, I would have to say the most fun I had was making the strands on the ball of yarn different colours. its actually more difficult than it looks to make the coloured strands look evenly spread and not have the same colours contact each other too much.
Im pretty happy with the outcome, I like the contrast of the darker and more bland outer logo and the bright coloursplosion of the yarn ball and needles in the center of the logo. I think it creates a nice balance, clearly stating the title of the group while emphasizing some of the materials the group uses in a bright display.

That is very true! Helping each other is what community is all about!! Oh yes we will definitely be able to choose a logo from all of the entries, we’re very pleased so far from what has been submitted :)
