JUST LOOK AT WHAT YOU CAN CREATE - COPPER WIRE ART !!!

This is really a lovely vocation and I´m sharing with you a piece of copper jewelry I made a couple of years ago. For me, it ´s one of a kind and I could not decide whether I should make it into a pendant or make another one to have a pair of earrings. I did a lot of pounding and hammering to flattened some of its parts and the coiling of the parts was really fun. What do you think?
I was fascinated by the minerals I saw at an exhibition that led me to create my own jewelry. I`ve had references, got books and researched on the web on how to make them. There were many retailers and wholesalers of minerals in my area and internet is also a good source. I even set up a shop on Etsy to feature my finished ones and got my first order from the US which was a charm bracelet followed by 45 sets of earrings ordered for Japan.
It was exciting and fun to make those jewelries...but back then, I was having my corporate job. The job became so stressy that I had to stop getting orders and closed my Etsy shop temporarily.
Now in my retirement , I was thinking of creating again and getting into more of the copper wire art. Let´s wait and see.... I know it will be fun again.
