Today I finished up another guitar painting made with a mixture of gouache and watercolor.
I have been thinking about making a print series for some time and at the moment I am working on different color and composition ideas that I will chose a selected few to be presented as the first additions.
Todays painting
The painting is painted on Hahnemuhle bamboo paper and is sized 30 x 40 cm
One thing I am batteling with thou is finding a name for the series. If there is something I really am bad at it is naming my own work. I really want the name to have a root in music, preferably with a connection to the guitar.
So, I thought I would give it a go and ask if anyone of you fellow creatives had any suggestions? :)

Marie, "Untitled." At least until you wake up in the middle of the night with THEE title that perfectly fits this painting! Seriously, I've seen many paintings with the title, "Untitled."
Hehehe, that's a good one Lee ;) I've been a big fan of the ''Untitled'' on many occations before myself.. Ai ai ai.. That this name giving has to be such a head scratcher..
I'm going to be using "Untitled" much more myself! 😎
Beautiful work, as always. I'm really enjoying watching this series unfold. You can see with each new painting that you are becoming more comfortable with/used to the medium. I love the idea of doing a study with one particular item, in different compositions. A guitar is a pretty tricky subject to pick for watercolors, I would think... so many nit-picky details!

Thank you so much @offbeatbroad! :) That makes me happy to hear! I am falling more and more in love with the qualities of watercolor for sure, but it is a bit of a tricky one when it comes to making details! Practice makes perfect I guess.. ;)

The amount of detail you have in the guitar is pretty spectacular, particularly given that it's a water color.
