Day 25 - Knowledge Is Power
This drawing depicts an old woman who is in quest for more knowledge. She knows that acquiring knowledge has no age barrier. At any point in time, anyone can still acquire knowledge.
Knowledge is power because we can use the knowledge we have acquired or what we learnt so far to defend ourselves when need be.
Knowledge is power, dont look down on it.
Below are my progress shots
Step 2
This time around, instead of working on the model first before adding background, I started with the background. I gave it a dark background.
Step 3
I added texture to my work
final piece
Before I used to get scared of adding a background to my work. Little did I know that it adds beauty to a work.

I have ruined quite a few drawings with a background, it is not your case. Another amazing piece of art, great job.
It is alway disgusting to a work ruined by a background but maybe the ruined background could be used as a design.
Thanks for stopping by.

A good drawing, @maxwellmarcusart :) And one that has a really empowering message, too ! It is true that acquiring knowledge has no restrictions, at any age, and for any person, we can always build and invest in what knowledge we avail ourselves to :)
I like the step by step presentation, and the final picture is nice, also :)
Yeah, no restriction and no bound to whatever we can learn.
Thanks for appreciating my piece.
