Pixel art: Turning gif
I made small edits to the pixel image from yesterday and then added a bit of motion and some flashing lights:
I first went for a spacecraft moving at constant velocity but then I noticed that that feels quite static. So I went for an accelerating space craft. It somehow has a more dynamic feel to it.
The landscape consists out of three layers. The layer with the mountain orginally didn't have anything on it. I tried to add something like skycrapers but that didn't quite work. In the end I just went for a military looking building with a tower and flashing lights. I guess it looks ok but I am not sure if I should have just left the mountain barren.

Thanks. I am looking a bit into the new unity 2D features. Maybe I can release some simple games in a month or two :)

I like that a lot. Much more lively than yesterday's picture. Pixel art. New to me. Then, a lot of things are. I've been teaching myself, really slowly, how to use GIMP. It's great fun. Anyway, I enjoyed your lively piece.
