A little more progress on my pencil drawing-why am i going so slow?
why am i going so slow with this drawing? actually when i started this drawing i thought this would be really easy because theres a broad area of shading which seemed easy to me then(not so much now).
but now that i am actually drawing it i am constantly checking the drawing to see if i am doing something wrong. i want to make it as good as i can
last two days i just starred at the drawing and kept thinking how i should approach it..... what if i do something and it doesn't look that good? should i leave this drawing at this point? should i leave it unfinished?
but then i really want to see how well i can make it....
so theres two kind of emotion working together and its very discomforting.....
but then i decide to go along with it... may be i should start another drawing too.... i will be working on both and it would help me keep my minds off of this one.... what do you think?
so now i have worked on the ear area the shading of the broken side, a little bit down the body and the forehead....
i having a little trouble with drawing the upper side of the head.... i don't really know how to put it....
for the left side i used 3 layers of graphite powder.... it seemed like a nice way to do it.... i think i am gonna have to do a little more to it....
lets see how i have done this till now.....

Hi, it's complicated when we get stuck in a part of the drawing, but for me modest opinion you should leave a time aside and start another, so the mind is clear and when you recover sure that the idea and the drawing come out on their own, do not get discouraged and follow that you do a Great job with your drawings.
Your shading is awesome... I love the way you have made her lips.
