100 followers - a recap
Just a few days ago, I made a post thanking my 50 followers, and I was (and still am) ecstatic about them - I mean, 50 people interested in me and my art in only 6 days, whoa, that's awesome!
In under five days after that, I'm now at more than 100 followers (102 at the time of writing, woo-hoo)!
But it's not all about gaining followers (even though it's great and to know that what I'm writing will be seen by more and more people) - it's really about this incredibly creative community! I've spent time discovering awesome art on Steemit - @mikkolyytinen, @omwith, @william-syrus just being a few of them.
I've had chats with @sornprar from Argentina (heck, I'm in Belgium!) and the freemen @speckofdust from Spain and @sircork, offgrid in the USA; I had a Steempocalypse-adventure with the awesome @fraenk in @papa-pepper's epic game.
Without hesitating, every day I'm posting what I'm grateful for at @steemit-health; and today I drove off to another city to donate books, just because of @drpuffnstuff's excellent and inspiring steemgig.
I gladly donated a painting for an auction to get Steemians to Steemfest (by @paolobeneforti) and I learned there's a Steemit chess-tournament and poker-tournament. If only I had some more time :D I learned there's so much going on here, and I'm enjoying it. But wait, there's more: I had my back covered and my self-esteem boosted by @clevercreator - her one comment made my day, probably my week, if not more: "You are valuable". And so are you, you all really are!
This is an awesome community and I think I don't even have scratched the surface here, after 11 days. I mentioned just a few of you who I'm following/following me and have made an impression - don't be mad if you feel like I should've mentioned you and I didn't - I know you won't be mad, maybe I'll mention you next post(s), ok?
For my 50 first followers, I offered 3 drawings - one is spoken for, the other two are pending - when those pending don't go through I will offer them again here, and I would like to extend the giveaway with this little painting:
