"Commencing countdown, engines on" (art)

Art creation made with Flame Painter by Escape Motions, in 4K (3840 x 2160).

Like most of my creations, this one emerged spontaneously. The very first stroke I did was the "7" (starting from the bottom, so it surprised me), and it immediately led to the "6" and "5". Those were done with the initial default brush, which I couldn't get back to so I emailed Escape Motions, as I had to save/exit/run/load in order to use that brush again. They said it's just the "Flame" brush, with the color white instead of the default gradient, and told me how to save it as a brush, which I did. I told them they might want to have that brush be part of the "Brushes" selection, as others might be confused, and they passed that along to the devs. Not so much a bug, as an enhancement request, and they agreed! Win. :)

The stars background was done with the brush "Noise" with the color changed to a dark gray. Then I added some blue with a brush named "Huge Blue" and blurred and glowed it some.

Then I looked up the lyrics to David Bowie's "Space Oddity" as I had an inkling that this somehow fit nicely into it -- and it does! (Video link below.) The lyrics start out with:

Ground Control to Major Tom
Ground Control to Major Tom
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on
Ground Control to Major Tom (ten, nine, eight, seven, six)
Commencing countdown, engines on (five, four, three)
Check ignition and may God's love be with you (two, one, liftoff)

The title I wanted fits exactly in between the "6" and the "5"!

Also, seven is something of a magic number, it is found in Scripture so often that Scripture cannot have been written by "mere mortals", as Dr. Chuck Missler discusses in the two videos below about Dr. Ivan Panin's research.
