Wow, very nice piece of art and a good little story behind it. Your art is very unique but carries a very consistent style. I really love the composition and the gold element on the left side that kinda turns into a border. The sword of flames is really nice too, it is not a traditional sword that is somehow on fire, like we see in every movie, fantasy book, and TV show ever. The archangel is actually grasping flame to wield as a sword. The piece as a whole looks really, really cool in the all black frame, no borders, none needed, the border is built-in!
I enjoyed the close up but I do wish there were more close ups or at least a very high resolution version to look at closer.

ok, I think you have to right click -> show image and then use the magnifier :-)
