HeART Exhibition

An art exhibition by Davao Artists that is co-sponsored by me(@kennik), @steemph, @artguildph, and @steemph.davao that started last february 13.

Last February 12 a friend named Perry Lequigan asked for a help with regards to the upcoming art exhibition. Click here to see previous conversation and transaction with regards to my friend's request.

The exhibition was a blast! There had been art talks and live portrait. To be honest I was not there in the opening ceremony due to Dengue, yes, that crucial mosquito bite. Nonetheless, the exhibit went great more that what e expected to happen.

I am suprized how great these charity plan is doing so far. From a plan of having an art workshop here in davao up to helping other artists expose their piece in public. Without the help of @deveerei, @dandalion, @steemph, @steemph.davao, @artguildph, and other people I believe this wont be possible.

The exhibition runs until February 28. Hoping some Davawenyo Steemians will visit as well 😊

Art Workshop

The final Schedule

So this is the main reason why we gathered funds for. Art workshop for the kids! But this time they are not just kids! These kids are from a Badjao community. A group of people first Indigenous settlers here in Davao City.

It was moved on February 25 due to their community activities. This workshop will be helo at Canaan Matina Applya, A badjao community. I believe that I will personally learn so much from them than I teaching them arts.

There will be updates after the said art workshop on how the things went and with the help of co-artists I believe it would result to the best 😊

After this artworkshop I will personally search for other communities I could have workshop with. This project wont stop as long as there are people specially kids who would love to learn in making artworks.
