There is something in b&w drawings that attracts me every time. I enjoy (almost) all b&w images, be it from Durer's Apocalypse woodcuts or from Buscema's Savage Sword of Conan inks. I don't know yet what is so mesmerizing in it, and, to be honest, I do not care to solve this particular mystery!

This menacing priest, with the weird symbol on his forehead (like a triskelion but with five parts), should be a real threat in your GURPS game. I guess he is a main antagonist to the players, if so, then do not let him be easily overtaken by them!

There is a reason I mostly do black and white on computer and that is because the drawing is in its nature binary. Black or white. This abstract nature of the drawing work especially well with computers. The screen will for most parts give the information of this abtract principle. But as soon as you begin using colours (including the colour of the white paper or canvas, the texture, the reflection) then a computer-screen is not really an optimal way of experiencing art. I do make colored works of course but I am more satisfied with the black and white when presenting them on computers.

The priest was made for some complex magic rules for a dark fantasy game that I am not even finished with. They need some more playtesting. So he is mostly just an illustration, but I hope to be able to gather someplayers that will play evil monks. Then he will more like be their superior - like Charlie in Charlie's Angels...

Strong character and really nicely drawn! Like the facial expression.

great piece of work! it's not really related with the way I approach experimenting art, but I said once.. The most important thing everybody seeks by doing their artwork is connecting and reconnecting with himself.. Thats's the result, everything else are just marks on the paper...

Or maybe it is connecting with others. I see art as a language.

yes, perfectly right! when you connect with yourself, you connect actually with the entire world..

Great work! :) do you require a touchscreen device to use that software?

I use a digitzer - Wacom cintic, but if you have the patience a mouse can be used too. I know that @mikkolyytinen has done that a lot and these very old digital paintings were made with the mouse too.

Great work really impressed.... upvoted!
