Thank you for sharing this @thermoplastic.
Saw his exhibition two years ago here in Belgrade. And it was event of the season, really.
I put my nose into every work there..And must agree he is amazing...The way he did some moments on his paintings, the way he used raw color in some parts that you can see only if you come very close..And if you step away it looks almost like photography.
Great skill, great artist.

    Thank you! In Vienna there was a big exhibition at the Albertina. I had met him several times before, also at exhibitions of his son Cyril. He had studied with my good friend De Es Schwertberger at the Academy in Vienna, and they were room mates.
