Why Invest in Steem as an Artist? - And Why I Do It!

It's been so fun to take part of Steemit's art community the last months. I'm really grateful for all the people hosting challenges, all the artists posting inspiring art and all you guys taking part and commenting.
This is why I POWER UP, why I use my own fiat to invest in Steem and Steempower:
A good investment. Steemit have some challenges but I still support the idea - easy transactions, crowd-funding, crypto, community - a great place if you want to take part of the future.
It's really awesome that my investments can be used daily to up-vote and support other artists and great content.
A common project in our own community - it's a privilege to share the Steemit-journey with my friends - takes it to the next level. You should introduce your friends too if you haven't already.
Challenges equal inspiration. I've made some creative work the last month I'd never done if it weren't for the Steem art-challenges. In a playful way I can take the things I practice in my art and apply it to something that can inspire others.
All the great tutorials that artist produce here is so personal and cool - I learn a lot!
Community - I get to interact with other artist. Even though this hasn't been the main focus until now - I've been more focused on painting and drawing - it's so fun commenting other artists work and see what they're up to.
I think I can use my full range of artistic talent - Challenges are fun, but I really think there will be so much more cooperation between artists in the future. To promote great ideas and Steem to this world, and create truly great art pieces.
I learn blogging, and English :p Sometimes I just want people to see the real art, it's often better - but then I'd miss the creative process of writing my blog.

I've observed that you mostly put on work on fan arts. Have you thought of really "powering" up to thought provoking art with a message or at least of deep connection within some concept/culture or maybe tackle something more political? Just a thought, it might make it more interesting; well, at least for me.
Thanks for input - I'm working on my inspiration. Before I was working full time and had no time to draw and paint. The first step was to find the joy in arts again - next step is absolutely to get in to more deep stuff as I've done before. Sustainability and equality will be my main focus. But I never think the artistic skills are secondary. Some level of esthetic attractiveness can be helpful to bring forth messages. What subject would you tackle?
Not too sure on my own. I and currently working and studying at the same time. I just casually take photos in my spare time. Hope you do well, budd. Cheers.

Yes. As I continue sharing my art, and learning about the various competitions, content, artists, and other art-development and marketing tools available here on SteemIt, I am becoming more convinced of the value potential of this platform. The nice thing is that all of the art stuff can be done IMMEDIATELY, without cost, and so artists can gain value in myriad ways right from the start. This is important for the proverbial "starving artists" , who now have access to an extremely valuable source of collaboration, support, artistic development and inspiration tools, etc. Great post which directly, and personally addresses this issue. Upvoted and followed. Keep it up...
