Drawing a bat cat!
This was a quick painting I did for one of the "drawlloween" Halloween inspired art challenges where artists are challenged to draw a Halloween or creepy themed artwork each day. I chose to draw hybrid cross between an angry Devon Rex and a bat!

Here I've scanned the artwork in and imported into photoshop where I began adding the base colours with my Wacom Intuos pen tablet. Nothing much has been added except some minor highlights.

I cycled between a few different ideas for the background including a Cathedral and a full moon but eventually chose to run with a night sky and looming overcast clouds.
What's wrong mittens, you didn't like your dinner? I thought you loved human flesh!

oh man ! i've always thought of those sphinx cats to be bat like and here you are presenting it in such an amazing portrayal !!! <3 gorgeous snarling expression and I love the eyes so much !!
