Purple Iris Painting 🎨🖌️
Hi there, what do we do about unfinished paintings?
We finish them!
My aunt has an unfinished Iris flower painting and I finished it!
THE ARTWORK
My medium for this is watercolor. The flowers are originally my aunt's unfinished painting.
So, here's the process photos
My aunt's style is different from me but I tried anyway.
The stalk and leaves need more green and outline.
Petals need lots of pink and purple.
Dark blue is for outlining.
Patch of blended sky blue, yellow, orange and pink.
Then, there are darker blues around.
Done!
It was challenging to finish a painting which isn't mine, meaning, I didn't plan it, so I have no idea how it's intended to look.
I stuck close to a natural setting, nature setting so it looks relaxing.
I may. Have rendered it too dry or boring but I'll take it as a drawing exercise.
