Ok, I will try to cheer you up with my post.

And today's post is about Babies.
Ah!!!! Babies are one of the most adorable creatures on this planet. They are a small little bundle of cuteness and their tiny touch and expression are priceless. And it is true their eyes twinkle like a star and when they play they look like Cupid or angel. That is when the baby is of someone else. When it comes to your own that little devil will not stop unless everything in the vicinity is destroyed. That is according to my younger sister who has two (Beautiful and adorable babies according to me) and little monsters (according to her). I don't have much experience with babies but I have seen and met many who says that they hit the jackpot with the most notorious baby and their babies can put the Dennis the menace to shame. But I think they are over exaggerating the fact the babies are the devil because they haven't met Oga Tatsumi and Beelzebub.

Spoiler: In this post, I will discuss the suffering of Oga Tatsumi our I believe we can call him the antagonist, and the plot point of the Anime "Beelzebub". I, however, will not be discussing the process of making the babies as that is reserved for some other day. ;-)

Who is Oga Tatsumi you asked, Well nobody described it better than the narrator

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a barbaric, ruthless, defiant, demon-like bastard who thought nothing of his fellow man."

No, Its true, Having a baby is tough. Having a baby when you are still in high school is even tougher. But having a baby who is literally the Demon Lord "Are you kidding me?"

Perhaps that is too much... He happens to average high schooler. you know the ones who run around the school picking up fights and causing trouble. Basically the cool ones. Yeah, that is Oga Tatsumi. A high schooler from Ishiyama High School the school is famous for their delinquents. Oga is one such guy. And he is a father of Beelzebub.

You see life sometimes is fair. Once Oga was running rampant around when a mysterious guy came floating in the river and being Oga he rescued him the only way he knew kicking him out of the river. The Guy turned out to be a demon with the ability to travel between the human and demon realms. and he brought "Beelzebub" into the human world. A cute little demon lord. the baby was sent into the human world the demon himself to wipe out the humanity. So Beelzebub was looking for a strong guy to latch on to. And that is how Beelzebub met his father...

Poor Oga at the age of 15 he became a father to a baby. And not just any Baby but a Pikachu of a baby. I am not kidding every time the baby cries he electrocutes the surrounding. And since the Oga and the demon baby are bonded by a contract Oga cannot leave and go any further then 15mts from the Beelzebub. Now I will leave you to think how many times the Oga must have been electrocuted. To add to the trouble the Demon maid shows up at his doorstep claiming to be his wife. She is the servant to Beelzebub and is assigned to take care of him.

Now Oga did what any sane person would do. Trying to get rid of the baby by finding someone stronger than him.
And that the journey they embark together they fight high schooler, demons and each other to find a stronger person. While they grew stronger together.

It's an interesting story of how they bond together and the build trust over the time. The character design is very interesting the hero is a typical high school brawler and other brats around are spot on. Let it be the Gangs like TKKH (Hidetora Tojou, Aoi Kunieda, Hajime Kanzaki & Tatsuya Himekawa) or stupid but true friend like Furuichi. The storyline is very light and linear. slowly and steadily building up to the climax to deliver and deserving ending. Every episode is exciting and very fresh, especially the first half because that's nothing but the character building and Ogas struggle being a father to a demon child with partners who couldn't care less.

Its a wonderful and interesting anime to watch, But I still wouldn't recommend it as Parenting 101

And Demon Lord is an awesome person. (Except for the part where he wants to destroy the humanity, We don't need intervention on that. We humans are very much capable of destroying ourselves.)
