That's a whole story in fact:)I can't tell you, cause I don't know any Chinese. I ordered myself a Faber Castle set on e-bay, but received some Chinese set instead. And it's not Faber Castle, but it's brilliant:)
They probably cover better because they are watercolor pencils. I have 3 different sets but I haven't tried them on a dark background.

On dark background everything looks brighter:) Try it if you'll have the possibility - it's so much fun:)
