We left Saturday morning for an overnight adventure on my off-grid property. I have not been there for a year. It's 3 hours from Denver and no fun to go to by myself. It's near Crestone, The Great Sand Dunes, & Joyful Journey Hotsprings

I went with this guy I have been hanging out with a lot the last few weeks... I was very nervous before going, not knowing what to expect...wondering if we are on the same page with what we both are thinking and feeling...

First we ate a delicious lunch at the 4th Street Diner, in the antiquated town of Saguache.

Next we visited my friend Sam with his new 40' shipping container and new (to him) 40' camper. He built a wind turbine and a solar battery to run his stuff of. Sam tells me he has been reading all my steemit articles, unbeknownst to me! But has not signed up for steemit! He likes what I write although he does not believe that chemtrails are in the sky or aliens are underground... Ok Sam; as you wish.

Then we went to Joyful Journey Hotsprings for a dip...

Then we zoomed over to Crestone...

So that I could go to the Freestore...

where I had a confirmative spiritual experience... I found cash in the pocket of some donated pants... I prayed and turned to the gal standing next to me - I said "do you need money?" - Yes, she replied. So I handed her the larger bill. We hugged, and I just said "pay it forward"... she was taken aback and shared that she had hoped to buy her daughter a corsage that evening for a play she was in, but had not had the money- thanks God...

We went back to the camper. The sun was setting over the San Juans.

He had brought a propane heater and lights. We sat and talked, face to face at the table. We reviewed our experience together over the last weeks. We decided that we should have a relationship. We decided we should not play games. We decided that as long as we put the common welfare of our union and others in our life first, we might be able to really get along well. I felt very vulnerable - more so than I have ever allowed myself to feel. I told him so, and said that, I needed to really go slowly so that I don't just react to that feeling of vulnerability...I have been known to break up to make up over that feeling in the past. I don't think he would tolerate that drama well.

We decided we have a lot in common. We both want to live off-grid, we have a similar spiritual path, we enjoy talking to each other for hours on end. We like to have fun...it's endless what we have in common, so we decided to make it official.

This morning when we woke up, it was snowing, so we took Rte 50 to I25 home. It took 7 hours of very intense concentration to get home - the roads were icey and a strong wind blew us around the road, fishtailing... we saw at least 20 cars spun out along the road, but we kept praying and we got home safely.

When I got home, I finished his birthday present... now time for a nap.

That piece is absolutely sublime.
The colours, lightness, mixed technique, dynamic, just all of it really comes together so delicately and beautifully. If this isn't a good omen for your new relationship, I don't know what is.

I really wish you a lot of Love, you gave me a big boost here with the art competition and you gave this girl a miracle and a boost by paying it forward the way you did, I don't know you very long but it would seem that's just the way you do it...

You really deserve a good dose of the universe's (good lord's) bounty. But you would probably give it right back.
As one of my favourite Arab sayings go "What's not given is lost"

Merci beaucoup, I share with you a little artwork I made about Lovebirds.

Hey! Thanks so much for this great comment! Thank you for putting that all together for me...plus it's great to hear from another artist this kind of uplifting commentary - I gave up realism in favor of my imagination a while ago and it's what I do. I could have gone that visionary route and just used my imagination to sketch and then translated it into visionary but I am too impatient to take that long on a painting. Here, you use realism to create your composition but play with the textures and colors in your painterly fill-in- marvelous - thank you...also - I do try to share these moments of opportunity to act as Nature would and give to people and the earth - act against the control system of selfishness...because it might inspire others to do so...

that diner pic

yes - it's a cool diner - so authentic, real, old. A bunch of guys with cowboy hats and dusty jeans sitting i there talking and drinking coffee.

Meep meep

So happy for you that you made the commitment, you will have to keep working on the chemtrails though ;)

My buddy Sam is the one who does not believe in chemtrails. The New Guy thinks the chemtrails are to change the atmosphere for the gray aliens that live under the earth's crust.

Ah thats what you want then! ;)

Congrats! I understand your piece much better now. I can see how those variables would heal a broken heart.

interesting! I think I am the one who had the broken heart...lol - I mean, I actually made that piece for his birthday - and it is meant to be rather benign, because we don't know each other that well yet... it's intuitive -- I believe that the angel is his mother - who died of MS a long time ago...he's made the connection with God through spiritual work he has done...the sigil is embedded in the heart...and he has a dog's spirit that travels with him wherever he goes, a medium told him this....one of his dogs did not move on - stays with him to protect him.

Snowing - LOL - here in New Zealand it's stinking hot and we are sweating like pigs.

If you have any photos of chemtrails I'm curious to see - I've been looking out for them since 2002 and still never seen any.

you are SHIT'N ME - ?? They don't spray you like bugs in New Zealand huh? That is SO WEIRD. That kind of blows my theory then - i guess they are just spraying the US??? But I have heard that they spray Ireland as well I definitely have seen it this bad, often. Then the result is that our clouds - which are big and puffy and weird, don't exist anymore and instead are a hazey feathery cirrus which covers the sun and makes the light kind of flourescent in nature. chemtrails4.jpg

My theory is that NZ is too far away for chemtrail plains to fly to from Aussie, too windy, and the airports are all too public to get away with refilling the planes, so we are very lucky!

Some people disagree, but I've been looking out for 15 years now, and all I've seen is contrails that disappear within 30 mins

Wow- that’s fantastic for you
